Won 2nd and 3rd Place in the 2020 Priangan Pharmacy Student Festival

Bandung, 7-9 February 2020 Pharmacy students at Buana Perjuangan Karawang University have participated in the 2020 Priangan Pharmacy Student Festival organized by Bhakti Kencana university. The Pharmacy Student Festival (FESMAFAR) is an event for West Java pharmacy students, especially for Priangan ISMAFARSI members. In addition, FESMAFAR is also a forum for increasing the competitive level of Priangan pharmacy students in relevant competitions in improving our skills as prospective pharmacy practitioners and also being able to become multitalented pharmacists.

The competitions in FESMAFAR are: Pharmaceutical Competition (PICS, PCE and Debate), Sports Competition (Futsal, Badminton), Art Competition (Acoustic and PHSC). Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang for the PICS (Pharmaceutical Industrial Case Study) competition sent a team represented by Lilis Setianingsih Agustina and Sukma Dewi Apriana (Winner 2nd Place) then for the PCE (Patient Counseling Event) competition sent 2 representatives represented by Muhamad Firmansyah and Fadhilah Fitrianti (winning 3rd place).

According to Lilis Setianingsih and Sukma Dewi Apriana “This activity has the following objectives; Improving the analytical skills, sharpness, and dexterity of pharmacy students in handling pharmaceutical industry cases, improving the communication skills of pharmacy students to explain the solutions they offer”.

Furthermore, Lilis and Sukma also added “I feel very happy and grateful to be able to enter the semifinal and final stages. For friends, keep your spirits up, don’t be afraid to participate in any competitions to make the campus name proud.” According to Muhamad Firmansyah, “It is very proud and also stressful, which brings the name of the campus to get the best predicate in the competition. My message is never to be left behind in participating in competitions like this, because experience is the best teacher.”
