KKN UBP KARAWANG

COMMUNITY , RAKA – A total of 843 students from the University of Buana Perjuangan (UBP) Karawang Regency took part in the Thematic Real Work Course (KKN) in 4 sub-districts in Karawang Regency, including Kec. Telukjambe east, Telukjambe Barat, Ciampel and Pangkalan. East Telukjambe District in 5 different village areas, one of which is in the Puseurjaya Village area, East Telukjambe District.

A total of 32 students at the Puseurjaya Village Command Post consisting of 10 UBP Study Programs such as Information systems, Informatics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Accounting, PPKn, PGSD, Law and Psychology with Field Supervisors including Bpk. Ir. Nana Rahdiana, MT., IPM., Ms. Yanti, SE, MAk., and Ms. Nita Rohayati, M.Psi., Psychologists will provide students with learning and working experiences and apply the development of science and technology outside the campus.V

As the chairman of LPPM Bpk. Dr. Sungkono, SE., MM., through the Head of the Thematic KKN post group in Puseurjaya village, Rustiwan from the Information Systems Study Program to RAKA. Thursday (12/7) Explained, UBP’s Real Work Lecture (KKN) has a central theme, namely Increasing Community Participation which is channeled to three derivative programs, including the Education Program in an effort to increase the human development index. Community economy and road infrastructure, with a composition so that access in the village can be accessed properly.
“I really hope that we can provide the knowledge that we get on campus to be disseminated to the community so that it is useful, even after we hold KKN in Puseurjaya Village, the increase in independent businesses in the village can be more independent and strong so that it can reduce the unemployment rate as well as improve the economy. community, especially at the rural level,” he hoped.

This KKN UBP Karawang activity is a process of fostering students in order to strengthen natural insight to understand the reality of people’s lives with various problems and improve students’ skills in solving problems that develop in the community. In addition, KKN activities are expected not only to contribute to the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education but also to contribute to the formation of student professionalism in line with the vision of UBP Karawang “competitive and with an international perspective”.
The head of Puseurjaya village, Bpk. H. M. Talib, S. Ag. stated, with the KKN activities from UBP students, it is hoped that they will be able to make very memorable achievements in the hearts of the community. He also did not deny that in a short time, students must be able to implement the knowledge they have acquired to the community and he also advised that in its implementation later it can always coordinate with the village government so that they can know the regional map and topography of the Puseurjaya Village area directly.
“Hopefully, with the presence of students in carrying out Real Work Lectures in the community, they will be able to provide a broad understanding to the community so that they can get the knowledge provided by students in KKN activities. It can raise people’s confidence, especially in the economic field so that they can improve welfare.
