Stadium General with the theme “The Challenge of Being a 21st Century Teacher”

27-28 December 2019, Anggy Giri Prawiyogi, M.Pd, one of the lecturers of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang, Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang, has become the Moderator and Organizer of General Stadium activities in the seminar room of the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang.

Resource persons in this activity include: Irfan Supriatna, S.Pd., M.Pd (Lecturer at Bengkulu University), Muh. Erwinto Imron M.Pd (Lecturer of UNIMUH Makassar), M. Rifqi Mahmud, M.Pd (Lecturer of UIN SGD Bandung), and Andriyana, M.Pd (WAKASEK of SMPIT Cendekia). This activity was attended by 150 PGSD students of Buana Perjuangan University Karawang.

This activity is related to the teaching profession ethics course. This activity was held to broaden students’ knowledge about becoming a teacher in the 21st Century, as well as to discuss current technological advances which are a challenge for teachers in the 21st Century. Teachers should not be defeated by technology and teachers must be able to use technology as a tool to optimize classroom learning.

According to Anggy Giri Prawiyogi, M.Pd “I am happy and proud to be able to organize a public lecture with speakers from various National campuses, Muhammad Rifqi Mahmud, M.Pd. lecturer of the Department of PGMI UIN SGD Bandung, Andriyana, M.Pd. Deputy Headmaster of SMP IT Cendikia, Irfan Supriatna, M.Pd. Bengkulu University lecturer, and Muh. Erwinto Imran, M.Pd. lecturer at UNISMUH Makassar. The event is also a development of the Teaching Professional Ethics course, which I happen to be the tutor of the course and at the same time being the moderator of the event”.

Furthermore, he also added, “Never stop learning because life never stops teaching, the future belongs to those who prepare for today. As well as growing character to students so that they make students educated, not insolent”.
