WAORKSHOP ENTREPRENEURSHIP PGSD

Sunday, December 15, 2019. The Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang has held an Entrepreneurship Workshop at the Rectorate Building, 3rd Floor. The theme of the Entrepreneurship Workshop is “Growing Entrepreneurial Spirits through Home Businesses that Generate Millions Turnover”. This activity was held from 07.00-16.00 and was attended by 103 participants.

This activity is a vehicle for students to grow the entrepreneurial spirit (entrepreneurs) by exploring their abilities to be creative and innovative so that they can increase their income, even though they are done at home to fill their spare time. The resource persons from this activity are entrepreneurs from Karawang Regency who have successfully run a business.

According to the Head of PGSD Study Program, Ayu Fitri, M.Pd, “We are happy that the entrepreneurship workshop has been carried out, participants can learn how to make money, which can be done only from home. Although the background of the participants is from Education not from Business. However, they are equipped with the knowledge of how to take advantage of business opportunities that can be done at home that have the potential to generate a turnover of millions. If other people can, then we can.”

Furthermore, he also added, “Participants are given motivation about home businesses that generate millions in turnover, closing techniques, making product photos and videos, and marketing through social media”.
