UBP Karawang students won 2nd place in photography competition in the Indonesian Psychological Innovation Week (PIPI) 5

This activity was organized by the Indonesian Psychological Association for the Greater Jakarta Region (HIMPSI JAYA) on 1 – 3 November 2019 as one of the programs which is a place for scientific meetings and encourages collaboration between lecturers, psychology students from various universities in Indonesia. The PIPI 5 activity was attended by 974 Psychology students from 40 universities in Indonesia.

This event was held at 3 universities at once (University of Indonesia, Gunadarma University, and Pancasila University). There are 12 types of competitions that are competed in the activity, namely PsyScience (intelligent); PsyPaper (designing psychological research and putting ideas into writing); PsyPoster (visualizing psychological research into posters); PsyDebate (debate on psychology topics); PsyClimb (rock climbing ability); PsyFutsal (futsal matches); PsyFilm (expressing cinematographic talent with the theme “Tolerance in Diversity”); PsyPhoto (photography competition with the theme “Tolerance in Diversity”); PsyVoice (psych student choir competition); PsyGram (uploading positive photos or videos with the theme “Tolerance in Diversity” to Instagram account); PsyPreneur (a creative idea competition in designing a business specifically for psychology students); and PsyNovation (a competition to create ideas about innovative products by applying psychological principles and theories).

In this activity, students of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Buana Perjuangan managed to bring home a silver medal in the PsyPhoto category.
