Visit and Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Buana Perjuangan University Karawang and Ma’soem University
04 December 2019, the university of buana struggle Karawang has carried out a visit and signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the university of buana struggle Karawang and Ma’soem university on the 02 floor of the meeting room.
UBP Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs Maman Mulya Karmana said this collaboration was a form of collaboration between two universities in terms of education, research, and community service. UBP has collaborated with more than 135 domestic universities and institutions, while the collaboration with Ma’soem University is the first time. “It is hoped that each university can rise together, we are actually collaborating, not competitive, we support each other,” he explained.
He explained that the implementation of cooperation in terms of education could be in the form of a student exchange program between the two universities. In addition, lecturers can make cross visits to give general lectures to students. In terms of research, lecturers from both universities can conduct joint research and also jointly publish research articles, as well as related to service activities. “Even so, the service is the same as that, or students can also be included to engage directly in community service, it can be joint KKN or other forms other than KKN,” he added.
The memorandum of understanding between the two universities is valid for the next five years. However, it is possible that this collaboration will continue for a longer period of time. “The hope is long term, we don’t want to break up with anyone. Because with this collaboration, we are building together to advance education,” he added.
