6-7 February 2020, the Accounting Study Program at the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang has participated in the 7th Accounting Scientific Conference (KIA), which was also attended by 62 universities and high schools throughout Indonesia. Taking the theme: “Implementation of Security Management to Improve Financial Quality in the Digital Era” this activity was held at the Graha Tanoto Auditorium, UPHARA JAYA Bekasi.

32 co-hosts in which there is also Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang as co-host and delegates 4 presenters and 30 other universities and colleges as seminar participants. KIA 7 got the MURI Record for the most co-Host and Event Supporter categories in Indonesia. A total of 182 KIA 7 speakers were presented in 3 seasons. The speakers from Buana Perjuangan University Karawang are Yanti S.E., M.Ak, Carolyn Lukita, S.E., M.Ak, Thomas Nadeak, S.E., MM., Fista A. Sujaya, S.E., M.Ak. and the Dean of FEB, Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang, Dr. Budi Rismayadi, S.E., MM., as Moderator in Parallel season of paper presentation. In addition to being co-hosts, supporters and presenters of Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU, MoA and IA) with 32 co-Host Universities and Colleges and supporters in the event. Therefore, the Chancellors, Deans and Ka. The study programs of each university and college were also present at the event.

The purpose of the activities and the MoU, MoA and IA is to provide an official gathering space between Universities and Colleges so that they can make various connections faster in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

The seminar presenters for the event were Nadiem Anwar Makarim, B.A., M.BA as Minister of Education and Culture, Komjen. Pol. Drs. Dharma Pongrekun, M.M., M.H As Deputy Head of the National Cyber ​​and Crypto Agency, H. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, M.B.A., Ph.D as Entrepreneur. The moderator in the seminar, the first material was presented by Dr. H. Cris Kuntadi S.E., M.M., CA., CPA., QIA., Ak as Expert Staff of the Ministry of Transportation.

In the material Komjen. Pol. Drs. Dharma Pongrekun, M.M., M.H explained that data leaks in Indonesia since 2013 have reached 7,094,922,061 data. Therefore, we as accountants must be more safe and careful regarding financial data that is developing in this digital era. In the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution, Paragraph 2 states that: “Freedom, United, Sovereign and Just and Prosperous” but in reality the condition of the Indonesian nation is currently being colonized economically and culturally, creating various kinds of conflicts, controlled by foreign countries, social inequality and uneven development. . Therefore, our Security Management System must have the concept of Unifying Security Arrangements in Digitizing State Financial Reports. The challenges are Uniform mindset, dependence, foreign forms of control and lazy to innovate. To answer these challenges, the solution obtained is to build national security management standards, develop national technology so that an independent Indonesia is able to regulate state finances.

After the seminar, the Workshop on the preparation of the 9 criteria accreditation forms was continued by Prof. Djoko Suhardjatmo, Ph. D as Dean of FEB UNS and Assessor of BAN PT and Dr. Sekar Mayangsari as Chair of PPA Trisakti University and Assessor of BAN PT. As a moderator in the workshop, Prof. Dr. Tri Widiyastuti, S.E., Ak., M.M as Professor of FE UPHARA JAYA. In the workshop, the speaker explained about the New Assessment Criteria for Accreditation (Ban 2 2017 concerning the National Accreditation System), Changes in IAPS and BAN PT from IAPS 3.0 (Formality) to IAPS 4.0 (the focus of assessors for the next reaccreditation), PERMENDIKBUD No. 5 of 2020 l, as well as 5 Accreditation Strategies including empowering quality assurance units, pursuing national and international scale activities, applying for accreditation when they are really ready to move up in rank, for PS and PT that have achieved excellent or excellent status, it is better to focus on national accreditation , and immediately withdraw the accreditation proposal if there is a belief that the accreditation does not increase in rank.

Buana Perjuangan Karawang University as a university that has only been established for several years and has only produced 1 graduate, in this activity can compete with universities and colleges that have been established for decades. We hope that this collaboration will continue in the years to come. The implementation of KIA 8, KIA 9 and KIA 10 will be held at UKRIDA, Pelita Harapan University and Muhammadiyah University in Jakarta. Hopefully, Buana Perjuangan Karawang University will soon follow suit as the next KIA Host.
