National Seminar on Scopus Indexed Journal Publications
Wednesday, January 8, 2020, Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang has held a National Seminar on publication of Scopus indexed journals and the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Widyatama University and Buana Perjuangan University Karawang. Mou was represented by the Chancellor of each University. Chancellor of the University of Buana Perjungan Karawang, Dr. H. Dedi Mulyadi, SE., MM then the Chancellor of Widyatama University, namely Prof. dr. H. Obsatar Sinaga, S.IP., M.Si who is also a resource person in the National seminar.
Activities carried out at the University of Buana Karawang start at 10.00-13.00. This activity was also attended by the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor 1, Deputy Chancellor 3, Chair of the Institute, Deans, Head of Study Programs, Heads of Centers and Lecturers at the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang.
The purpose of this activity is to establish cooperation between UBP and Widyatama in developing and strengthening the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in terms of scientific publications of the UBP and Widyatama academic community. In addition, the target for journals is as many as 200 articles/journals from each lecturer who collaborates on research, both scientific and interdisciplinary groups and raises university rankings.
According to Yayan Alpian, S.Pd., M.Pd. as chairman of the Cooperation field at the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang “I think this activity is very useful, it can inspire enthusiasm to actively write and produce scientific papers that can be published in international journals. For my fellow lecturers, have the enthusiasm to work and produce good scientific works that can be published in international journals and can develop science”.
