National Webinar with Ismafarsi and BPOM RI
Monday, October 21, 2019, the Pharmacy Study Program at the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang has held a National Webinar activity with Ismafarsi and BPOM RI which is also spread across 17 special campuses for the Pharmacy Study Program throughout Indonesia.
The activity was carried out in the seminar room on the 3rd floor of the rectorate building of the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang. The activity, which started at 10.00-13.00 WIB, was attended by 106 participants from pharmacy students, lecturers and pharmacists in the Karawang area. The purpose of this activity is to voice hoaxes in spreading news about food and medicine that often occurs in Indonesia.
According to Tegar Wiguna Tejayanda, one of the committee members and also a student of the UBP Karawang Pharmacy Study Program, “I am very proud because UBP Karawang itself in the world of Ismafarsi (pharmaceutical organization throughout Indonesia) is very new, but UBP Karawang has been given the trust and can be chosen to be one of the campuses that is participate in the National Webinar. The area that participated in this activity first was the Priangan area, where in the Priangan area there are very many large campuses, but we have proven that UBP Karawang is able to fight and compete with well-known campuses”.
Furthermore, he also added, “I hope that Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang can continue to fight and spread its wings wide. I advise you to be a tiger outside the cage, not to be a tiger in a cage.”
